Professor Tariq Muneer

Tariq Muneer was born in Hyderabad, India – a town that is rich in the cultural traditions of Islam. Urdu has been heavily patronised in Hyderabad, in particular during the reign of the Nizam dynasty.

Tariq moved to Scotland in the year 1984 as a university lecturer.

Tariq likes to philosophise on the subjects of ‘energy’ and ‘time’ and during one such session he penned his poem on the subject of time.
