Tahir Bashir Ferozepuri
Tahir moved to Scotland in 1993 and despite the very busy life here, Tahir has managed to contribute regularly to the local literary scene. In the years 2006 and 2007, Tahir was the conductor (Nazim) for the Edinburgh Mushaira.

Born in Chichawatni, Pakistan, Tahir acquired his education in that latter town as well as in Sahiwal. From his early days Tahir had a great liking for arts, especially poetry recital. In college he contributed towards the workings of the Art Society by participating in ‘Mushairas’ and writing for the literary magazine.
