Property Services Committee/Building Control Repairs SubcommitteeMinutes: Property Services Committee/Building Control Repairs Subcommittee 14/01/98Back1 BUILDING REPAIRS NOTICES Notices under Section 87 of the Civic Government (Scotland) Act 1982 had been served on the owners of the undernoted properties requiring them to carry out repairs. The works specified in the Notices had not been carried out within the prescribed period and the owners had been invited to appear before the Sub-Committee to show cause why they should not be executed by the Director of Property Services. DECISION (1) That no further action be taken on the following cases as the owners had now agreed to carry out the necessary works:- 49 Gilmore Place and 1 Gillespie Street 55-57 Montague Street and 75, 77 and 79 St Leonards Street 25, 25A, 27 and 29 Restalrig Road. (2) That the Director of Property Services be authorised to execute the works specified in the following cases and recover the costs thereof from the owners concerned:- 6, 7 and 8 Brougham Place 16, 18 and 20 Downfield Place (3 cases) 5-7 Glen Street (2 cases) 91-101 Lauriston Place and 1 and 1A Glen Street (2 cases) 77, 79, 81, 83, 85, 87 Loganlea Place and 90-92 Restalrig Avenue 39 Lutton Place 64, 66 and 68 Marchmont Road 43, 45, 47, 49 and 51 Montrose Terrace 76-78 North Junction Street and 2 Couper Street 23,25, 25A, 27 and 29 Restalrig Road (2 cases) 33 Tarvit Street 40, 41, 42, 43 Warrender Park Terrace and 12, 13, 14 and 15 Marchmont Street (3 cases) 5 Wheatfield Road (3) That consideration of the following cases be continued until the date indicated:- 6, 8 and 10 Newton Street (3 cases) - until 11 February 1998.
